Adult education:
Bible study for adults is held monthly, starting this November. Meetings are in Spanish.
Sunday School:
Parents have a grave responsibility to form their children in the faith. Most formation occurs in the home: children see how their parents value and practice the faith, and they learn. The parish helps in many ways with the divine services and sacraments. The parish offers Sunday school using texts approved by the Eparchy. There are no fees, and materials are provided by the parish.
During school months, classes are held, via Zoom, every Saturday morning from 10:00AM to 11:00AM. (Parents will need an internet connection and a computer/phone/tablet running Zoom, and an email address.) Classes for children include age-appropriate bible study and activities for children from K – 8 grade. Depending on each child’s attention span, parents should be in attendance, but may be “off camera”. In addition to study materials, religious coloring books are provided.
During summer, classes are held monthly, in person, after the 11:30AM Divine Liturgy. Classes for children include age-appropriate bible study and activities for children from K – 8 grade. Parents must remain at the church during classes. In addition to study materials, religious coloring books are provided.
