O Holy Father, Physician of our souls and bodies, heal, help, cure, save and forgive Your servant.
Christ came to us as the Physician of our souls, bodies and spirits. In the Holy Unction, He meets us in our sufferings, joins them to His own and thus makes them life-giving for us and for others. He always heals, and at times He also cures. This Sacrament also brings with it the forgiveness of our sins, if we are repentant as we receive it. It can be received as often as a Christian wishes.
